Petty Officer 2nd Class Carrie McKinley, hospital corpsman, assigned to the multipurpose amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima, plays basketball with Guatemalan children during a Continuing Promise community service project at the Hogar de Ninos orphanage. Iwo Jima is anchored off the coast of Guatemala supporting the Continuing Promise 2010 humanitarian civic assistance mission. The assigned medical and engineering staff embarked aboard Iwo Jima are working with partner nation teams to provide medical, dental, veterinary, and engineering assistance to eight different nations.
