SAN DIEGO (Feb. 17, 2017) Hospital Corpsman 1st Class Billy Jo Darity, military advisor to the final class with the Navy Advanced Dental Assistant Program (ADAP), cuts a ceremonial cake following a graduation ceremony at Surface Warfare Medicine Institute (SWMI). ADAP started in 2007 and ran through this year, giving graduates an increased understanding of dental procedures and practices as well as the Navy Enlisted Classification (NEC) 8702 which was recently disestablished.
