Lance Cpl. Thomas Butterworth, 21, a rifleman and a dog handler from Neosho, Mo., watches with his dog, Cpl. Trip, as fellow members of the 2nd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiments K-9 unit exercise improvised explosive devise detection drills, Aug. 27, on the fields outside of Camp Horno. The two along with other members of the unit have been training together with the dogs while waiting for their deployment to Afghanistan.
