3rd Class Ayla Lewis, a native of Scranton, Pa., assigned to the submarine tender USS Frank Cable (AS 40), volunteers her time caring for rescue animals at Guam's local animal shelter, Feb. 12. Frank Cable's JEA volunteered as a group and donated food and cleaning supplies to the shelter. Frank Cable is one of two forward-deployed submarine tenders in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations and conducts maintenance and support of deployed U.S. naval force submarines and surface vessels in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
