Tactical air control party Airmen with the 227th Air Support Operations Squadron, New Jersey Air National Guard, and aerial traffic controllers with the 621st Contingency Response Group, Air Mobility Command, watch as a C-130H Hercules with the 166th Airlift Wing, Delaware Air National Guard, performs an air drop at Coyle Drop Zone near Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., Feb. 10, 2017. The air drop was in support of drop zone safety officer training for the 227th and 621st Airmen. Drop zone safety officers are responsible for establishing and operating day and night drop zones for personnel/resupply missions flown by Air Force and Army aircraft. 25 Airmen attended the course.
