Kaiser (T-AO 187) refuels amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6) and dock landing ship USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52) during a replenishment at sea (UNREP). UNREP is conducted while a ship is underway to maximize a ships time at sea without returning to port.
