Chinook helicopter pilots from Company B, 2nd General Support Aviation Battalion, 227th Aviation Regiment, 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, perform a pinnacle maneuver on a 300-foot vertical cliff during a training exercise, here, Aug. 26. The pinnacle allows the pilots to drop off ground forces in areas too dangerous or too difficult to fully land in.
