Lyons, boatswain's mate, from Bloomfield, N.J., an instructor assigned to Maritime Civil Affairs and Security Training, directs Guatemalan navy maritime patrol boats into formation during a training exercise. Lyons and other members of the MCAST Guatemala small boat operations military training team spent two weeks with the FEN as part of a military-to-military joint training effort to help police and maintain international waters.
