Petty Officer 3rd Class Naphaphone Ratsavong, engineering aide, embarked aboard the multi-purpose amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima, helps sort personal mail the ship received upon arriving in port. The ship received more than 6,000 pounds of personal mail. Iwo Jima is in Costa Rica supporting the Continuing Promise 2010 humanitarian civic assistance mission. The assigned medical and engineering staff embarked aboard Iwo Jima will work with partner nation teams to provide medical, dental, veterinary, and engineering assistance in eight nations.
