While speaking with the command sergeants major of the 3rd "Sledgehammer" Advise and Assist Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division, Command Sgt. Maj. Lawrence K. Wilson, USF-I command sergeant major, shares his philosophy that maintaining Army standards and discipline while treating soldiers with dignity and respect is a key part of good leadership, Aug. 23. Wilson, who ends a 21 month tour as the senior enlisted soldier in Iraq Sept. 1, made an effort to visit each of the three U.S. Divisions in Iraq, as well as each of the six Advise and Assist brigades to thank them for a job well done.
