MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII – Cpl. Juan Cadavid, a motor transport mechanic with Combat Logistics Battalion 3, and a native of Orlando, Florida, shows a challenge coin awarded by Maj. Gen. Vincent A. Coglianese, the inspector general of the Marine Corps, during a visit of his unit aboard Marine Corps Base Hawaii on Jan. 26, 2017. Coglianese attended a briefing hosted by MCB Hawaii leadership where multiple inspectors from the office of the IGMC shared information and answered questions about unit inspections. The visit promoted combat readiness, institutional integrity, effectiveness, discipline and credibility through investigations, inspections, assessments and inquiries of military commands.
