F-15 Eagle pilot, Lt. Col James Sage of the 199th Fighter Squadron, Hawaii Air National Guard, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, is guided by a crew chief before departing for his last F-15 training mission on Aug. 25 at Hickam. The 199th is transitioning from the F-15 to the F-22 Raptor, which is a fifth generation fighter. The 199th has flown the F-15 since 1987 and received their first two Raptors on July 9.
