U.S. Army Command Sgt. Maj. Benjamin Jones, the command senior enlisted leader of Combined Joint Task Force-Operation Inherent Resolve, presents a challenge coin to U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Robert Koehler, an explosive ordinance disposal technician with Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force-Crisis Response-Central Command, while visiting Marines and Sailors currently forward deployed to the Middle East, Jan. 6, 2017. Koehler was recognized for his contributions to the logistics combat element and the ground combat element. He taught improvised explosive device training, maintained telephone and internet communications on the flight line, and performed multiple collateral duties that allowed his unit to function with limited personnel. SPMAGTF-CR-CC continues its commitment to support Operation Inherent Resolve and the USCENTCOM commander by providing a range of crisis response capabilities.
