Senior Airman Erik Thomsen, C-17 Globemaster III loadmaster, reconfigures the cabin floor to install passenger seats, Aug. 10, at Sather Air Base, Iraq. C-17 loadmasters and Airmen from the 447th ELRS unloaded 12 pallets of cargo, and then reconfigured the aircraft to carry passengers in less than an hour. The C-17 is redeploying personnel in support of The U.S. Forces Responsible Drawdown of Forces to 50,000 troops by the end of August when Operation Iraqi Freedom ends, and Operation New Dawn begins.
