U.S. soldiers, assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 3rd Battalion, 126th Cavalry Regiment (3/126 HHC), Michigan National Guard, unload gear from buses at the D.C. National Guard Armory, Washington D.C., January 18th, 2017. Soldiers from 3/126 traveled ten hours to support the inauguration of Donald J. Trump as he becomes the 45th President of the United States during the 58th Presidential Inauguration. Forty-four states, three territories and one district assigned to Joint Task Force D.C. are to provide military ceremonial support and defense support of civil authorities during the inaugural period.
