Sgt. Kyle Schmidt, a team leader with Company F, 52nd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Battalion, 12th Field Artillery Regiment, 4th SBCT, 2nd Infantry Division, United States Division-Center, and a Manchester, N.H., native, rolls up rounds to turn in after his Stryker crossed the border to Kuwait, Aug. 16, ending the unit’s yearlong deployment assisting, training and advising the Iraqi Security Forces. The 4th SBCT is the last combat brigade to leave theater.
