NORFOLK, Va. (Jan. 12, 2017) Yeoman 1st Class Jason Taylor, assigned to U.S. Fleet Forces Command, plays the National Anthem to begin the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration hosted by the command’s heritage committee. The celebration included a historical overview of Martin Luther King, Jr.’s life as well as a medley of his speeches. U.S. Fleet Forces Command works to man, train and equip the Fleet for prompt and sustained combat operations and is responsible for making the Fleet ready to fight and win, both today and in the future.
