Joshua Airport, St. Vincent, May 9, 2014 during the Caribbean Hurricane Awareness Tour May 4-11, 2014. More than 700 locals toured the WC-130J, which was on display as part of the CHAT. The outreach program, which began in the 1970's and is a joint effort between National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's National Hurricane Center and the 403rd Wing's 53rd Weather Reconnaissance Squadron, promotes hurricane awareness and preparedness throughout the Caribbean region.
