Military members from U.S. European Command, United States Air Forces in Europe, 86th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, and the 37th Airlift Squadron downloads firefighting and humanitarian supplies from a C-130J in Moscow, Russia, Aug. 13. The supplies are being delivered to Moscow, Russia, after an official request from the government of Russia to the US and at the request of the Department of State, The Department of Defense directed U.S. European Command to provide valuable firefighting equipment that includes; firefighting protective equipment and tools to help Russia combat the ongoing wildfires.
