Lt. Michael Garrett, commander of U.S. Army Central and Combined Forces Land Component Command, toured both the current and past military history in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, Dec. 14-15. Garrett visited the Uzbekistan Ministry of Defense Museum and later spoke about the importance of mission command at the Uzbekistan Armed Forces Academy, as a special guest speaker to the field grade officers there.
