Airman Chad Craft, an aviation boatswain’s mate (handling), uses a tow tractor to spread detergent on the flight deck during a scrubbing exercise aboard the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). SCRUBEX is a critical part of flight deck maintenance and helps prevent corrosion and mishaps. Ronald Reagan is currently underway participating in training operations in the Pacific Ocean.
