Conniff, from Gates, N.C., is a member of the 203rd Rapid Engineer Deployable Heavy Operational Repair Squadron Engineers (RED HORSE) of the Virginia Air National Guard. Approximately 1900 Department of Defense personnel are part of Joint Task Force-National Scout Jamboree supporting the Jamboree. The DoD's presence and effort at the NSJ emphasizes the commitment to the nation’s youth.
