Seaman Taylor Browning, a ship serviceman with USS Mesa Verde (LPD 19) serving as one of the ship’s two certified Navy barbers, cuts a fellow Sailor’s hair on Dec. 16, 2016, as the ship sails to its final destination after wrapping up its part in the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group Marine Expeditionary Unit Exercise. As a barber, Browning is able to contribute to helping Marines of the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit and Sailors maintain hair grooming standards free of charge while underway. The ARGMEUEX is a three-week training evolution intended to build upon previous relationships, thereby enhancing Navy and Marine Corps interoperability and amphibious warfare capabilities to tackle a wide range of operations during their upcoming deployment.
