U.S. Army Pfc. Simeon Poggi with Scout Platoon, 2nd Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment, 173rd Brigade, begins to repel down the ravine during the German Mountain Warfare Training in Seinsbach Gorge, Mittenwald, Germany Dec. 8th, 2016. The Mountain Warfare training was conducted from the 05-16 Dec., to build proficiency in mountain terrain with reconnaissance operations and extreme cold weather survival techniques.
