MV-22 Osprey assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 268 on approach to LZ 216 during a simulation of operation Gothic Serpent aboard Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Kaneohe Bay, Dec. 10, 2016. Operation Gothic Serpent was a military operation conducted by U.S. special operations forces with the primary mission of capturing faction leader Mohamed Farrah Aidid.
