Governors Brian Sandoval (Nevada), Mary Copeland Fallin (Oklahoma) and Scott Walker (Wisconsin) were welcomed at the Headquarters Resolute Support by Maj. Gen. Richard G. Kaiser, commanding general of Combined Security Transition Command – Afghanistan and Sgt. Maj. Michael Clemens, deputy chief of staff, Security Assistance/Combined Security Transition Command - Afghanistan.
The Governors arrived here yesterday to visit forward-deployed National Guard, reserve service members and deployed home-state constituents. They received briefings from U.S. Central Command leaders.
