Brig. Gen. John Richardson IV, the 3rd Infantry Division Deputy Commanding General for Maneuver, addresses the Troopers during a Spur Ceremony at Fort Stewart, Georgia Dec. 7. A total of 88 Cavalrymen from throughout Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield earned their silver spurs and were inducted into the Order of the Spur after successfully completing a 3-day Spur Ride that tested their Cavalry skills while challenging their physical and mental toughness.
