Cpl. Colby Pockabla, looks around while inside an amphibious assault vehicle during a mechanized raid Dec. 5, 2016 on Camp Lejeune, North Carolina as part of Amphibious Ready Group Marine Expeditionary Unit Exercise. Marines with Kilo Company, 3rd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment conducted the raid in amphibious assault vehicles crewed by Marines with 2nd Assault Amphibian Battalion. The simulated raid was conducted to better verse the infantry Marines in ship-to-shore movements from USS Carter Hall (LSD-50). Pockabla is with Kilo Co., 3/6, and Grove City, Pennsylvania native.
