Seaman Parris White, culinary specialist, of Chicago, ladles shrimp creole into pans to serve to the crew during lunch time in the galley aboard USS Wasp. Wasp, homeported in Norfolk, Va., is preparing for its Unit Level Training Assessment-Sustainment certification which tests the ship's engineering, damage control, combat systems, aviation maintenance material management, seamanship, navigation and medical readiness.
