Marines from Marine Wing Support Squadron 274 examine their success after engineers from the support squadron used 180 half-pound sticks of dynamite to blow through a six-foot bed of rock running underneath their planned runway site, July 18. The squadron is building a runway here capable of handling KC-130 cargo aircraft traffic.
