USS MAKIN ISLAND, Indian Ocean (November 24, 2016) Marines and Sailors with the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group/11th Marine Expeditionary Unit take part in a five kilometer run on the flight deck of the USS Makin Island (LHD 8) done in celebration of Thanksgiving Day, while afloat in the Indian Ocean, Nov. 24, 2016.
