161117-N-NT265-422 SOUTH CHINA SEA (Nov. 17, 2016) A Sailor assigned to the forward-deployed Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS McCampbell (DDG 85) disembarks the Royal Brunei Navy ship KDB Darussalam to a rigid hull inflatable boat (RHIB) during a visit, board, search and seizure (VBSS) training exercise during Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) 2016. CARAT is a series of annual maritime exercises between the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps and the armed forces of nine partner nations to include Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Timor-Leste.
