161117-N-NT265-382 SOUTH CHINA SEA (Nov. 17, 2016) A Sailor assigned to the forward-deployed Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS McCampbell (DDG 85) posts up on the bridge wing of the Royal Brunei Navy ship KDB Darussalam during a visit, board, search and seizure (VBSS) training exercise during Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) 2016. CARAT is a series of annual maritime exercises between the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps and the armed forces of nine partner nations to include Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Timor-Leste.
