U.S. Navy Lt. Cmdr. Rozalyn Love, an obstetrics and gynaecology (OB/GYN) Staff Physician with U.S. Naval Hospital Guam (USNH Guam), begins postpartum hemorrhage training in the hospital's Mother Baby Unit. This training, implemented by Military Health System, is intended to prepare physicians, nurses, and Corpsmen for postpartum hemorraging events by teaching them how to quantatively measure bleeding, which helps identify the extent of blood loss and lead to more rapid treatment procedures.
