Community volunteers and members of the Alaska National Guard delivered tidings of good cheer to the coastal village of Togiak, Nov. 15, 2016. They provided children—infants to high schoolers—with wrapped presents from Santa Claus, books, school supplies, backpacks, fresh fruit and ice cream. The delivery is the culmination of planning and coordination for Operation Santa Claus. Now in its 60th year, the Alaska National Guard community outreach program continues to visit children in Alaska's remote villages annually. (U.S. Army National Guard photo by Staff Sgt.
