U.S. Marines with Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force Crisis Response-Africa conduct assault fires during combat marksmanship range training near Naval Air Station Sigonella, Italy, Nov. 9, 2016. The Marines focused on shooting fundamentals, increasing proficiency with the M4A1 service rifle by conducting drills from distances of 5 to 25 meters. The top four shooters finished the range by competing in the full spectrum of techniques and drills that were practiced throughout the day.
