SABAH PROVINCE, Malaysia (Nov.11, 2016) – A Malaysian Soldier with the 7th Battalion, Royal Malay Regiment posts security around a CH-53E Super Stallion during exercise Tiger Strike, Nov. 11, 2016. Marines with the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit ran the soldiers through a number of familiarization drills such as: helicopter loading and offloading drills, how to set up a hasty landing zone, secure it, and control it with air panels. Tiger Strike 16 is an opportunity for Malaysia and the United States armed forces to strengthen military-to-military partnerships, and increases the ability of all participants to plan, communicate and execute amphibious operations. The 11th MEU is participating in Tiger Strike during its regularly scheduled deployment through the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Staff Sgt.
