NEW YORK – Retired U.S. Army Colonel Stephanie Dawson, the chief operating officer of the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey, is presented an American Flag during a ceremony honoring the Official Grand Marshals for the 2016 New York City Veterans Day Parade at the Freedom Tower in New York, Nov. 9, 2016. Dawson, served in a New York Army National Guard unit which mobilized on September 11, 2001, to assist in rescue and recovery work at Ground Zero.
