Marine Cpl. Leighton Zacher, a hydraulics mechanic with Aviation Intermediate Maintenance Division aboard Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman, physically inspects a nose landing gear strut of a F/A-18C jet. Zacher is one of 19 Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 31 Marines who attached with Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 312 for a seven-month deployment.
