    ARABIAN GULF (Nov 6, 2016) Seaman Jose Torrech, from Puerto Rico, conducts maintenance on the high-pressure turbine on a jet engine in the jet shop of the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) (Ike). Torrech serves aboard Ike as an aviation machinist’s mate and is responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, fabricating and maintaining jet engines. Ike and its Carrier Strike Group are deployed in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
