ARABIAN GULF (Nov. 5, 2016) Petty Officer 2nd Class Fallon Grun, from Fort Worth, Texas, sorts and catalogs mail in the hangar bay of the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) (Ike). Grun serves aboard Ike as a logistics specialist and is responsible for inspecting all newly acquired supplies, sorting mail and distributing hazardous materials. Ike and its Carrier Strike Group are deployed in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
