A member of the Second Royal Canadian Regiment rises out of the water during Shallow Water Egress Training at the base pool of Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Kaneohe Bay, June 30, as part of the Rim of the Pacific Exercise in Hawaii. SWET must be conducted for all personnel that will be constantly moving from one vessel to another during RIMPAC. This is the 22nd year of the biennial exercise and it stresses interoperability of all partner nations as a key element of regional stability.
