Petty officer first class Christian Lacson takes Lance Cpl. Daniel Jimenez’ blood pressure during a library blood drive Nov. 3, 2016 aboard Camp Foster, Okinawa, Japan. The library blood drive is one of the many initiatives hosted by the Armed Services Blood Bank Center that supports U.S. operations across the Asia-Pacific region. The Pacific Command ASBBC is located on Camp Foster and collects blood periodically from Status of Forces Agreement donors to support the U.S. Naval Hospital Okinawa, as well as the areas surrounding Okinawa. Lacson is a hospital corpsman with the PACOM ASBBC, U.S. Naval Hospital Okinawa and is a Guam native. Jimenez is a ground electronics telecommunications and information technology systems maintainer with Headquarters Battalion, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force and is an Acton, Massachusetts, native.
