A U.S. Marine uses a handheld body mass index device to examine his individual healthiness during the Harvest Festival celebration at Camp Pendleton, Calif., Oct. 28, 2016. The BMI machine works by sending an electrical signal from one hand that travels through your body to the other hand and based on how quickly the pulse travels through your body, the machine will determine how much of your body weight is fat. The festival was an opportunity for Marines, Sailors and their families to experience a safe and fun event that allowed participants to enjoy various family activities while showing off their Halloween costumes.
