Marines link pieces of an improvised ribbon raft together to create a ramp for Marines from 3rd Battalion, 8th Marines to cross the waterway during the Marine Corps Combat Readiness Evaluation at Camp Lejeune, N.C., Oct. 26, 2016. The raft will be used to load, transport and deliver Marines and their vehicles during the following phase of the MCCRE.
