PACIFIC OCEAN (Oct. 24, 2016) An MH-60S Seahawk helicopter transfers cargo from the amphibious transport dock ship USS Somerset (LPD 25) to the Military Sealift Command (MSC) fleet replenishment oiler USNS Guadalupe (T-AO 200) during a vertical replenishment. Somerset is on its maiden deployment as part of the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group, with the embarked 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit in support of the Navy’s maritime strategy in the U.S. 3rd Fleet area of responsibility.
