Senior Airman Brontee Jeffries is announced as Airman of the Year for the 179th Airlift Wing as members of the 179th Airlift Wing and 200th RED HORSE Squadron gather in Mansfield, Ohio, to honor this years nominees for Airman of the Year, Oct. 22, 2016. Schnulo, the Assistant Adjutant General for the Ohio Air National Guard, Mansfield Mayor Tim Theaker, Leah Jones, a representative from U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown’s office, Senior Airman Brontee Jeffries, Col. Each year outstanding airmen are selected to represent the best of categories separated by rank such as Company Grade Officer (CGO), Senior Noncommissioned Officer (SNCO), Noncommissioned Officer (NCO) and Airman of the Year.
