U.S. Air Force Col. Kent Olson, the 119th Wing commander, speaks about current unit issues and events with retired members at the annual retiree breakfast in the aerospace dining facility at the North Dakota Air National Guard Base, Fargo, N.D. Oct. 5, 2016.The chief master sergeants and the senior master sergeants cook and serve an egg bake, fruit, and English muffin breakfast for the retirees at the annual event, followed by a short video by public affairs and a unit briefing by the 119th Wing commander. “We watch the retirees and see how happy they are when they come in and they see their old friends, and get a chance to reminisce about the old days, and also to find out about the current state of the unit. It really makes us feel good,” said Chief Master Sgt. Doug Faldet, who is a key organizer of the event. (U.S. Air National Guard Photo by Senior Master Sgt. David H. Lipp)
