U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Brandon Louderback, 1ST Expeditionary Civil Engineering Group, uses survey equipment to determine the length and width a runway at Qayyarah West Airfield, Iraq, Oct. 10, 2016. The Air Force has been tasked to repair the runway after he Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant damaged it to prevent Iraqi and Coalition forces from using the area. A coalition of over 60 regional and international nations have joined together to enable Iraqi forces to counter ISIL, re-establish Iraq’s borders and re-take lost terrain thereby restoring regional stability and security.
