Iraqi security forces transport combat equipment including M1A1 Abrams tanks and tracked amphibious infantry fighting vehicles to tactical assembly areas in preparation for the Mosul offensive with assistance from the 313th Movement Control Battalion forward element, near Makhmur, Iraq, Oct. 18, 2016. The 313th Movement Control Battalion headquarters is located in Baltimore, Maryland, and deployed this summer in support of 1st Sustainment Command (Theater). A Coalition of regional and international nations have joined together to enable Iraqi forces to counter the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), reestablish Iraq’s borders and re-take lost terrain thereby restoring regional stability and security.
